2019 Public Sector Digitization Award

Tunisia TradeNet, a national leader in digitization, won the 2019 Public-Sector Digitization Award, in its first edition, for its electronic invoice project: El Fatoora.
This award, bestowed on the sidelines of the Tunisia Digital Summit, by the Ministry of Communication, Technologies and Digital Economy, falls under the DigiGov4Business category. It is awarded to the project that provided companies with the most efficient digital services having improved the quality of service.
During the award ceremony held on April 2nd, 2019, Mr. Youssef Chahed, Head of the Government, presented the award to Mr. Ahmed Faouzi Ben Khalifa, CEO of the company Tunisia TradeNet, in the presence of Mr. Ridha Chalgoum, Minister of Finance, and Mr. Anouar Maarouf, Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy
The company Tunisia TradeNet, being an authorized body for the processing of electronic invoices since 2016, also manages the electronic exchange platform for foreign trade and transport formalities. With nearly 20 years of rich experience in dematerialization, TTN has already earned its spurs as a regional leader in the design, implementation and management of electronic Single Windows, which link up stakeholders from the public and private sectors, like the Single Windows for foreign trade in Tunisia and some other African countries.
By diversifying its services with respect to digitization and online services, TTN continues to consolidate its position as a key player in digital economy.
This award is the fruit of the perseverance and devotion of the company’s personnel who, owing to their competence and to the rich experience they acquired in the field, will spare no effort to carry out the company’s projects.

The Pioneering Public Service Award

In June 2011, the “Transport Bundle” innovative project won the 2nd place in the UN public service Awards for the African continent. (DAR ESSALEM -TANZANIA) (DAR ESSALEM -TANZANIE)
This award, which rewards the creativity and contributions of public institutions around the world for a more efficient and responsive public administration, is the outcome of a close collaboration between the various stakeholders in the transport and logistics group.


At the 2009 TIGA AWARDS, TNN won the “Technology in Government in Africa” award in the “public / private partnership” category for its project “Foreign trade procedures online: the Single Bundle and the Transport Bundle”.
